With over ten years experience creating TV content, Tom has come through the ranks and developed an energetic cinematic style and ability to tell a story in any environment.
TV series like ‘Concrete Wave’ and ‘Fat Blue Sky’ were brought to life through his ability to connect and communicate with his subjects, as well as a broad audience.
He was on-board for the launch of MTV Canada in 2006 and has produced/directed multiple new series and feature documentaries for the network.
Tom recently wrapped up his role as Senior Producer/Director on an original show he created for CTV’s Olympic Consortium – ‘Over the Bolts’ is a nine part documentary series that chronicles the selection process for Canada’s Olympic Snowboard Team leading up to the 2010 Games. Tom traveled the world with Canada’s Snowboarding Team, a number of whom medaled at the Games. It aired on a total of nine networks within Canada and reached a national audience in the millions on CTV, TSN, Sportsnet and MTV.
Currently Tom divides his time between Vancouver and Los Angeles.
His passion for storytelling and film, as well as his love for the landscapes he encounters on the way shines through in all of Tom’s work.
